At first I had no idea what I was doing. I played the night level and it was so dark and it was confusing with all the buttons and everything. Then me and my pawn buddies fought this really tough chimera. It kept hitting us with annoying status effects. After a while I started listening to my pawns because they kept saying “cut off the snake tail” or the “the goat heads weak to physical attacks.” Then I figured out you can actually jump and hold on to it and attack because my other fighter dude was doing it. It took forever to kill the damn thing and my mage lady died twice.
Next I played the day level, which was a lot easier with just some goblins and a gryphon. I got to use the characters I created but I didn’t get to choose their weapons, so I learned to use a bow. It took some getting used to. The goblins were a piece of cake so then we attacked the gryphon. At one point I actually grabbed it and it flew with me still on it. That was really cool. We ended up burning its wings to take it down.
Now I can’t wait to get the actual game. It’s going to be so awesome!
